Meursault "Limozin" – Domaine Hubert Bouzereau Gruère
A beautifully refined expression of Meursault, this Limozin perfectly illustrates the elegance and precision for which the Bouzereau family is renowned. Pure, balanced, and effortlessly sophisticated, it is a true jewel at the dining table and an exceptional companion to fine cuisine.
Domaine Hubert Bouzereau Gruère is a family-owned estate located in the heart of Burgundy, in the prestigious village of Meursault. Hubert Bouzereau, the seventh generation of a distinguished winemaking family, established his own domaine in 1970 together with his wife, Marie-France.
The Bouzereau family is one of the most influential names in Meursault. Hubert, the son of Pierre, brother of Vincent, and cousin of Michel Bouzereau, belongs to a lineage that has played a significant role in shaping the reputation of the appellation. His passion for both vineyard and cellar work laid the foundation for the estate’s enduring success.
Since 1995, Hubert’s daughters, Marie-Laure and Marie-Anne, have taken an increasingly active role in the domaine and today lead the estate, which spans approximately 10 hectares across six communes of the Côte de Beaune. The production consists of roughly 75% white wines and 25% red wines.
A defining characteristic of the estate is its old-vine holdings, which provide additional depth, complexity, and character to the wines. Marie-Laure and Marie-Anne are committed to producing wines of exceptional balance, combining fine minerality, aromatic purity, and vibrant acidity, resulting in wines of remarkable finesse and elegance.
